Five Minute Friday: Blessing

The way we position our hands and our heart changes blessing from gift to action.  Arms turned upward, hands like bowls, we receive, soak-up, bathe in blessing. But, blessings are not meant to hold. We are more than just receivers of God's blessing, we are conduits.

Arms stretched outward, fingers pointing toward the world and heart literally gushing. Ready to bestow blessings received on neighbors, friends, family, strangers, disenfranchised, lonely, hungry, tired, ill, poor, hurting, broken.  Brothers, sisters, all.

  2. So true, as we receive blessings from God they are meant to flow back out to others. I like how you describe that here. Visiting from FMF#31.
